
Linguine with Broad Beans and Pesto

Pasta with Broad Beans and Homemade Pesto
This is a very nice starter that can prepared with other green vegetables such as spinach or green beans
broad beans to deliver around six small handfuls of broad bean pods
Pod the broad beans
Picture and cook in boiling water for about seven minutes. Drain the beans and cool under cold water. Peel the beans
Picture and season to taste with a little salt.
Bring water in a large saucepan to the boil, add a couple of pinches of salt and the linguine. Stir, and simmer for about eight minutes or so until just done. Drain well and put back in the saucepan.
Stir the broadbeans into the linguine to the extent you can. Then stir in four to five tablespoonfuls of pesto, and serve with more parmesan
