Pears, Chocolate Sauce and Ice Cream

four ripe eating pears, I used Rocha from Portugal in this case.
- Make the Chocolate Sauce Recipe .
- Peel the pears, cut into half and remove the core. Sqeeze over some lemon juice to prevent discoloration Picture .
- Use a knife to trim the end of the pears so that one half can stand up and the other half lay on its back, and put on the serving plates. Put a dollop of ice cream on the pear on its back and pour over a few tablespoonfuls of Chocolate Sauce Zoom .
Notes: It is nicer to use ripe eating pears rather than poaching pears in a weak syrup.
