Very simple but great starter or have as a light lunch with some good bread
200 gm tin of tuna steaks preferably in oil
Peel the red onion and slice as thinly as possible. Take the two tins of beans (mixed or not, your choice), discard the liquor and add to a bowl with the onions. Stir and season the mixture with salt and lots of fresh black pepper.
Take the tuna discarding any oil, break into chunks and stir into the beans/onion mixture Picture .
Make a dressing with six tablespoonfuls of good olive oil and a tablespoonful of lemon juice and season well. Mix lightly into the mixture not necessarily using all the dressing.
Put the salad into serving dishes, optionally chop some parsley and garnish, and serve with a lemon piece Zoom
