Wonderfully Sweet Golden Beetroots Cooked in the Oven
Not widely available (yet), but you can get these lovely Golden Beetroots in Borough Market
A couple of bunches of Golden Beetroots Picture
- Top and tail the beets and then gently clean with a knife. Cut them into fairly thin slices less than a centimetre thick. Toss in a little olive oil and a teaspoonful of salt.
- Lay the slices out in an ovenproof dish and cook at 375°F/190°C/Reg5 for around 30 minutes or until tender. Turn them half way through.
