Best braising steak casseroled in Guiness and beefstock with added sauteed mushrooms topped with puff pastry.

Make the Beef and Guiness Base as in the
Recipe .
Remove the stalks and peel the mushrooms. Quarter or half the mushrooms according to size. Quickly sautee the mushrooms in butter sprinkling a little cayenne over. Add them to the beef mixture.
Put the beef and mushrooms in a pie dish, cover with the pastry paint with beaten egg and cook at 400°F/200°C/Reg6 for around 40 minutes until golden brown.
