Pasta with Sausage, Broccoli and Pecorino

Great supper dish of Penne, good Italian Sausage, Broccoli, sun dried Tomatoes and Pecorino

  1. Brown the sausages well in a little olive oil. When done, put the sausages on some kitchen paper to absorb any fat, and when cool cut into slices and put to one side.
  2. Meanwhile cut the broccoli into florets discarding the stalk etc. Steam the florets until barely tender for five minutes or so, and then take out the steamer to cool a bit. Then cut the florets into thin slices and put to one side. Take the sun dried tomatoes discarding any oil and cut into halves or thirds.
  3. Cook the pasta and when ready drain and put back into the cooking saucepan. Stir in the sausage slices, broccoli and tomatoes into the pasta, season with salt and pepper and stir in a tablespoonful of olive oil if you like. Then grate and stir in a little pecorino (or parmesan) to taste and serve  Zoom   with more grated cheese.
Serves: Two as main

Notes: Broccoli and pasta works a treat, more dishes to come.
